Hello! My name is Kishon Milanes.
I am a BEST-certified Postpartum Doula (PPD) dedicated to helping families navigate the exciting, and sometimes overwhelming, journey of early parenthood. My path to birth work began in August 2024 after a rewarding seven-year career in the medical field. Having worked as a Patient Care Technician and Unit Clerk in hospital settings, as well as a Dialysis Technician, I bring a high level of clinical comfort and reliability to every home I enter.
As a lifelong learner, I am currently pursuing further certifications in Childbirth Education and as an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) to provide my clients with the most comprehensive care possible.
I am a deep admirer of French culture and an avid traveler and reader. Whether I’m exploring a new book or sharing a cup of coffee with friends, I am always looking for ways to grow personally and professionally. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and after years of working in healthcare, I’ve found my true niche in being a vital part of that village.
