Independent childbirth classes teach families to advocate for the birth they want.

You are capable of making the decisions for birth that are right for you. Our classes honor that. All our classes use Preparing for Birth curriculum. It’s modern childbirth education at the intersection of evidence and intuition.

All families are welcomed and classes are taught by certified childbirth educators.

We offer group classes, private classes and online classes. The online classes are self paced and streamed to you.

Natural Hospital Birth: An afternoon of birth prep

We’ll fill your labor tool box so you leave calm and confident for labor and birth. This is an excellent course for someone planning a hospital birth because, let’s face it, most hospital courses teach you how to do birth their way - but maybe not your way.

Natural Childbirth - Comprehensive birth education on podcast

Listen wherever you have wifi. Your access lasts a year.

This award winning class uses an online format combining podcasts and video. (Yes, you can take childbirth classes via podcast!) Prepare for your birth as your drive or do chores and listen as often as you like. Partners can prepare when they are not together…and when they are.

The online format includes:

  • Six Podcasts curated with dynamic instructors. Each podcast is over an hour long -this is the most comprehensive childbirth class out there and includes supplemental videos along with exercises to prepare for labor, gratitudes and journaling.

  • The beautiful Preparing for Birth journal which creates positive conversation between partners, and with health care providers.

  • Prepared Feeding video (breastfeeding/infant feeding course).

Online Childbirth Class

Your baby will want to eat!

Breastfeeding instruction and advice streamed to you when you need it – and you can watch as often as you want!

Watch toward the end of your pregnancy and watch again once you baby arrives. It’s indexed so you can easily find the info that you need. Topics include baby’s first latch, pumping and safe bottle feeding, troubleshooting common problems, weaning and using a pump.

Prepared Feeding is included with the podcast series but may be ordered it separately if you are just looking for comprehensive breastfeeding prep.
